Bounded zoom16 orthophoto candidate
Prepared on 16 September 2026 outside Assets, then integrated by Root as a separate summer Layer1 resource. Native Alps01/02 verification passed 2/2 on the 02:22 build. Root retains this as an incremental visual improvement; it is not photorealistic/AAA acceptance. The exact Alps01/02 route bounding box plus 300 metres requires 234 source tiles (18 × 13), within the fixed 256-tile limit. Two concurrent workers used a shared maximum of five request starts per second; all 234 images were verified, totaling 4,298,087 downloaded bytes. No extra source requests were needed for the global mosaic.
The official orthophoto product supplies EPSG:3857 imagery at finer native survey resolution. The selected zoom16 gives approximately 1.605 real metres per source pixel, or 1.204 game metres after the existing 0.75 horizontal adaptation, versus the previous zoom14's 6.419 real metres. The existing 290-degree rotation, origin and DEM coordinates are preserved. The source page lists a recent product update; no individual tile capture year or season is asserted. The official FAQ and terms explain differing acquisition illumination without radiometric harmonization and permit private/commercial use under CC BY 4.0. Retain the credit Datenquelle: basemap.at and describe the reprojection/mosaic changes; no source endorsement is implied.

[minX,minZ,width,depth]:[-2046.871582,-300,2346.871582,4851.899414]metres. Output spacing is 0.573 × 1.185 game metres; the X dimension oversamples the actual source and does not create new detail. A 2048 × 4096 crop would be a more economical runtime shape if distinct crop mapping were used. It retains the exact full-map bounds[-6000,-2000,12000,10500]and existing layer ST. Original photo data is resampled outside the crop; genuine zoom16 pixels are sampled inside, with a 100-metre spatial feather blended in linear light. All route points retain at least a 200-metre fully high-resolution margin. Integrated runtime evidence
The delivered Assets/Rampage/Resources/Environments/Alps/SchneebergCorridor_color.jpg is byte-identical to the global candidate (SHA-256 8614f342bfc9df9c374a32519d7ccded6b93495fbb866b57b6efeb6ee4883965). It is used only by summer Layer1; Layer2/3 and winter retain the original texture. The current material source SHA-256 is cee60b7bdc8d504e027ab799cbdf707dec3fc68e876e516dcbf77032454c6249; its R3 manifest preserves the earlier colour-space audit and exact R2 backup. Full mip storage estimates: 4096² BC1 10.7 MiB, 8192² BC1 42.7 MiB; BC7 21.3/85.3 MiB respectively. Uncompressed 8192² RGBA32 with mips is approximately 341.3 MiB. These are format estimates, not measured imported residency. The default importer platform limit is 8192; the actual native log confirms photograph=8192x8192 format=BC7 mips=14. Thus the relevant format estimate is 85.3 MiB. Extended memory/performance acceptance is still open. Its memory is additional while the original source remains referenced.
Higher resolution also reveals real source buildings, roads and acquisition shadows. It does not de-light the photograph, remove incompatible paths or improve mountains outside the focused crop. The mosaic preparation performed no colour grading, generated imagery or heightfield changes. Root subsequently imported the separate resource; the existing summer material grading remains an independent authored choice.
Docs/QA/20260916-022247-campaign/campaign-report.json records two rendered production-AI solo passes, no crashes or recoveries, stable 1920×1080 captures and no reported errors. Average capture rates were approximately 20.9 FPS (Alps01) and 20.0 FPS (Alps02); these are not a 60 FPS performance pass or human controller validation. The player log supplies the actual texture format evidence. Root's visual review retains the sharper source increment while explicitly recording remaining baked shadows, flat field appearance and tree limitations. Original photograph, summer/winter masks and DEM payload hashes were rechecked unchanged during this documentation update.
