Alpine orthophoto source and integration

The release page currently lists an orthophoto update of29August2025, flight2024. Regional source acquisition dates can vary, so this does not assert a per-tile capture date. The product page notes flight-year labels at zoom17–20; this candidate uses zoom14. No labels or watermarks were removed.
169 verified256² source JPEG tiles were downloaded with four bounded parallel requests from the current official WMTS. The formerly published maps1.wien.gv.at endpoint no longer resolved; the current product link and archived WMTSCapabilities-current.xml identify mapsneu.wien.gv.at instead. Original JPEGs, URLs and SHA256 hashes are retained under ArtSource/Alps/SourceAssets/Orthophoto and in ArtSource/Alps/orthophoto-build.json.
Tools/Art/fetch_schneeberg_orthophoto.py reprojects those pixels into the existing adapted DEM coordinates: identical origin47.79N/15.884736842E,290°bearing,0.75 horizontal scale and12km×10.5km bounds. It writes ArtSource/Alps/Exports/SchneebergOrthophoto_color.jpg,4096²,9,350,637bytes, SHA256 cc217730bc4585dd45b79d3f0b3d04afdb59daa9d3d97491f204c54d7d87da20. The actual source sample spacing at the origin is about6.42m; the output grid does not create finer aerial survey detail.
The immutable DEM payload SHA remains 7f3fc34b74dc07448e973b7f9510f5a4898294fa811c4468eeff3865d6ed1414. Processing performs bilinear reprojection, crop, identical world-coordinate adaptation and JPEG encoding. No roads or heights are edited. This provides actual limestone drainage, forest distribution and valley fields; it is not a seamless tile or an aerial reconstruction generated by AI.
Assets/Rampage/Resources/Environments/Alps/SchneebergOrthophoto_color.jpg is identical to that source export. The importer preserves4096px, sRGB, mipmaps and compressed texture storage. Native HDRP LayeredLit uses the aerial pixels in the same world-XZ projection as the DEM;3.2m meadow detail remains separate, and forest/rock use their photographic triplanar details. Native main-layer colour inheritance gives those layers the actual regional pattern rather than the failed artificial macro-colour field. The valley/ascent have three layers; the snow pass retains a separate fourth snow layer. Both shader combinations are referenced by the build.
Production limits: acquisition lighting and shadows remain, so this is not a de-lit PBR albedo. Its real-world paths differ from the game's deliberately authored road. Native QA must assess shadow/road-corridor conflicts, colour under game exposure, mip behaviour and performance. Source compilation passed82 Runtime plus17 Editor files with0 warnings/errors; no Unity rendering or visual acceptance is claimed from that check.
