Third-party assets and notices
The materials and HDRI skies listed below are provided by Poly Haven under CC0 1.0. They may be used, modified, and redistributed commercially. Source URLs and exact hashes are retained in the accompanying manifests.
Surface materials
Source MD5 checksums and processed SHA-256 hashes are in ASSET-MANIFEST.json. Color and normal images are unchanged; packed HDRP masks contain metallic, ambient occlusion, constant detail, and inverted roughness channels.
- Asphalt: asphalt_03 — Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. HDRP mask channels repacked.
- Alpine asphalt: Clean Asphalt by Dimitrios Savva — Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. The original 2k diffuse JPEG and OpenGL +Y normal PNG are delivered unchanged as
AlpineAsphalt_colorandAlpineAsphalt_normal; source tile width is 2.1 metres. The derived linear HDRP mask packs R=0 metallic, G=source AO, B=1 detail and A=1−source roughness. No colour tint or pixel recolouring was applied to the source files. Official API records, verified publisher MD5/byte counts, source/delivery SHA-256 and reproduction are in ALPINE-ROAD-ASSETS.json,ArtSource/AlpineRoadAssetsandTools/Art/prepare_alpine_road_assets.py. - Bark: bark_brown_02 — Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. The game's own pale limestone color field and alpine geometry determine the appearance; this is not a surveyed reconstruction of a real mountain. Photographic pine needles
The unchanged 2k needle color/alpha and OpenGL normal atlases from Pine Tree 01 are by Rico Cilliers (modeling) and Rob Tuytel (photography), supplied by Poly Haven under CC0-1.0. The game's original tree geometry selects the atlas's upper-left sprig using UV coordinates; no third-party tree mesh was downloaded. Layered pairs of photographic sprigs maintain the crown silhouette, with color variation and restrained normal-map strength. Publisher MD5, source URLs, SHA-256, authors, and file sizes are recorded in PINE-TEXTURE-ASSETS.json.
Photographic undergrowth
The 1k plant atlases from Fern 02 and Grass Medium 01 are by Rico Cilliers (modeling) and Rob Tuytel (photography/scanning), supplied by Poly Haven under CC0-1.0. Only textures were downloaded; the game's plant geometry is original. The fern's original RGB is combined with its source alpha, reduced from 16-bit to 8-bit. The grass RGBA is losslessly resaved. No source recoloring or cropping was performed; materials apply runtime tints. Exact source URLs, publisher MD5, source SHA-256, processing details, and output SHA-256 are retained in UNDERGROWTH-ASSETS.json.
Alpine environment additions
- Rock Face 01, Dario Barresi, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. The scanned source is adapted to three reduced mesh detail levels, preserving UVs; normal/roughness maps are repacked for HDRP. The original and editable adapted Blender sources are retained under
ArtSource/Alps. - Tree Small 02, Rico Cilliers, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. Source branching and crown distribution are adapted to reduced wood and curved photographic compound-leaf cards. The source alpha is merged with the color atlas; publisher sRGB bytes are retained exactly after the documented colour export correction. This fictional valley broadleaf is not claimed as a botanically exact Alpine species. The optimized editable Blender source is retained; the large original download is reproducible from its recorded source URLs.
- Leafy Grass, Charlotte Baglioni, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. Photographic grass supplies the meadow surface and centered-luminance/normal HDRP detail map. The published source maps are retained unchanged; runtime maps are derived channel packs.
Publisher source MD5 and local SHA-256 were verified on download. ENVIRONMENT-ASSETS.json records sources, authors, license URLs, modifications and delivered file hashes. ALPINE-PRODUCTION.md describes editable sources and reproduction. Original chapter geology, road-side architecture and placement are project work; these additions are separate from the earlier original procedural scenery.
Regional vegetation sources
- Yughues / Nobiax — Palm TreeZ v3, CC0 1.0. Coastal palm mesh/UVs and original diffuse-alpha/normal artwork are adapted to metric game scale and three LODs. The Nile date-palm silhouette is an original thicker-stem, denser-crown adaptation, not a separately scanned botanical model. The original author readme is retained with the source archive.
- Rob Tuytel and Rico Cilliers — Island Tree 01, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. Scanned woody geometry is reduced, source crown locations inform curved leaf cards, and the original leaf RGB/alpha are combined without colour grading. The resulting tropical lower-canopy model retains approximately 5-metre proportions.
- Rico Cilliers and Rob Tuytel — Fir Tree 01, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. Bark colour/normal maps are reused on the project's original cypress stem and branches; its scale-spray crown geometry and colour are original work.
REGIONAL-VEGETATION-PRODUCTION.md, regional-vegetation-sources.json and regional-vegetation-build.json retain source licenses, authors, downloaded hashes, exact transformations and delivered hashes. Editable original/adapted Blender sources are under ArtSource/RegionalVegetation.

The villa, campanile and lighthouse geometry is original project work, with editable Blender sources and three authored detail levels described in REGIONAL-ARCHITECTURE.md.
Geographic world map
Made with Natural Earth. The world land polygons use Natural Earth 1:110m data, released into the public domain. The project clips latitude to −60…+85 degrees and triangulates the original polygon outlines for Unity UI; the fictional tour routes and markers are original project work. Source and derived hashes, reproduction and the geometry budget are in WORLD-MAP-DATA.md.

Skies/AlpineDay: Kloofendal 43d Clear (Pure Sky), Greg Zaal, Poly Haven, CC0-1.0. The original 2048×1024 RGBE HDR is delivered unchanged; no HDR pixel tint, gamma recolouring or amplification was applied. Unity imports it as a linear HDR cubemap with 512px BC6H faces and mipmaps. Source/delivery checksums, publisher size and measured upper-hemisphere integral are in ALPINE-ROAD-ASSETS.json; use and source-only preview processing are described in SKY-ASSETS.md. - Red Mesa Rush: Evening Road 01 (Pure Sky), Jarod Guest (sky edits), Sergej Majboroda (original).

The delivered 2k RGBE HDR files are unchanged. Unity converts them into HDR cubemaps for lighting and reflections. SKY-ASSETS.json records official download URLs, publisher MD5, local SHA-256, and file sizes; SKY-ASSETS.md describes their use.
Recorded motorcycle audio
- delphidebrain — delphis SUZUKI GSX1100E-1 and GSX1100E-2, Freesound, Creative Commons Attribution4.0. Edited excerpts provide the engine's idle, RPM bands, lower body and shift/load transients. The third recording from the same author and license was retained for research but is not used in the current runtime bank.
- Hurry_Joe33 — Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R Burnout, Freesound, CC0 1.0. Edited early rev excerpts supply additional exhaust body and a throttle transient.
- martian — motorbike hornet600 onboard, Freesound, CC0 1.0. An edited helmet-recorded excerpt supplies closed-throttle body.
- richwise — Single Cylinder Motorcycle, Freesound, CC0 1.0. The prior Honda CRF250 idle layer remains in the checkout and historical comparison; the current runtime engine no longer loads it.
All recordings were obtained as public HQ MP3 previews linked by their ordinary source pages. Original login-only WAVs were not downloaded. Modifications include mono conversion, excerpt selection, high/low-pass filtering, DC removal, compensated loop crossfades or transient edge fades, gain normalization and runtime pitch/gain changes. The air bed is original project work. The resulting fictional motorcycle voice combines recordings from different motorcycles; no author or manufacturer endorsement is implied. RECORDED-AUDIO.md and RECORDED-AUDIO.json retain source URLs, license evidence, source/page SHA-256, exact processing parameters and output hashes. The previous CRF250 provenance is also retained in Sources~/recorded-audio-legacy.json.
Recorded surface feedback
- newlocknew — VEHBike_Bicycle Wheel Rides On Fine gravel.Close Up_EM, Freesound, CC BY 4.0. An edited 6–10-second excerpt supplies a granular tire layer. Modifications: mono conversion, 22,050Hz resampling, 120–4,800Hz filtering, 160ms loop crossfade, peak normalization and runtime gain/pitch/filter changes. The source is a slowly moving bicycle on gravel; its adaptations to earth, sand and snow are designed textures.
- Rudmer_Rotteveel — Wood Creak Single V7, Freesound, CC0 1.0. An adapted wood-step creak supplies sparse moving-deck feedback. Modifications: mono conversion, 22,050Hz resampling, 75–5,500Hz filtering, 25ms edge fades, peak normalization and runtime pitch/gain changes.
Both were obtained as ordinary public HQ MP3 previews. Archived source pages, original preview bytes, the processing script and delivered hashes are described in SURFACE-FEEDBACK.md and surface-audio-manifest.json. No author endorsement is implied.

Source verification
Verified September 14, 2026: all 18 material source MD5 checksums were rechecked against fresh official downloads. The unchanged maps match their downloaded bytes; the six repacked masks match the reproduced source pixels. All 18 delivered material SHA-256 values match ASSET-MANIFEST.json. All three unchanged HDR files match both publisher MD5 and the recorded SHA-256 in SKY-ASSETS.json. The current audio bank's four source previews, four source-page snapshots, processing script and twelve delivered WAVs match the hashes in RECORDED-AUDIO.json; numerical delivery evidence is retained in AudioPreviews/audio-validation.json.
The Liberation Sans TTF and OFL were also compared byte for byte with Unity 6.3's bundled TMP Essential Resources.unitypackage; both match. Font fingerprints:

The three CityBrick map source MD5 values were checked against the publisher and each delivered file has a recorded SHA-256. Both unchanged photographic pine atlases match their publisher MD5 and recorded SHA-256.
Motorcycle geometry, rider rig, fallback procedural foliage artwork, scenery meshes, historical generated atmosphere, air and generated feedback are original project work. The recorded engine, adapted surface sounds and photographic assets are credited above. The current regional atmosphere uses the recordings credited below.
Adapted Schneeberg elevation and Alpine firs

The tile does not identify its source separately for each pixel. Reduced mesh parts retain original UVs; six full-tree alpha views are rendered from three source models on CPU. Photographic needle alpha is packed into RGBA and roughness is repacked for HDRP. Original-source and delivered fingerprints are in
ALPINE-FIR-ASSETS.json. The dedicated winter derivative adds original upper-bough snow geometry and renders eight CPU views for A/B trees and seeded groups, retaining original photographic alpha, dark trunks and undersides. The source corner attribute's original X/Y values are explicitly transferred into Blender's active UV layer for that bake. Cells are packed without whole-image recoloring; winter source/delivery hashes and camera records are inALPINE-WINTER-FIR-ASSETS.json, with the exact method in ALPINE-WINTER-FIR.md.
The summer fir derivative subsequently received an explicit original-corner X/Y-to-UVMap transfer before CPU rendering and FBX export. Six individual views and four seeded forest-group views were rebaked without recoloring; the existing exported triangle geometry was retained. ALPINE-SUMMER-FIR-UV-REPAIR.md records the actual paired-render proof, original missing-UV audit and corrected delivery hashes. The source license and authors above remain unchanged.
The bridge timber grain/roughness maps are original generated project artwork.
Alpine aerial terrain colour
The independent tree-placement mask also derives scalar woodland/site evidence from the same unchanged basemap.at orthophoto, combined with the existing DEM, geology mask and limited original meadow-parcel composition. It is not a surveyed forest-classification product. Its geographic mapping, source hashes, preparation and attribution are recorded in ALPINE-TREE-COVER.md and ArtSource/Alps/TreeCover/tree-cover-build.json.
Datenquelle: basemap.at — official Austrian Orthofoto, layer bmaporthofoto30cm, CC BY4.0. The publisher terms permit private and commercial use free of fees with linked attribution. Modifications:169 bounded zoom14 tiles are cropped and bilinearly reprojected into the game's existing adapted DEM coordinates (290° bearing,0.75 horizontal scale), then encoded as a4096² JPEG. Runtime material grading and separate photographic detail are project adaptations. Source lighting/shadows remain; this is not a de-lit albedo, a finer survey or an endorsed real riding route. Original tiles, URLs, SHA256 records and the identical delivered export are documented in ALPINE-ORTHOPHOTO.md and ArtSource/Alps/orthophoto-build.json. No visible source labels or watermarks were removed.
The separate Assets/Rampage/Resources/Environments/Alps/SchneebergCorridor_color.jpg uses the same Datenquelle: basemap.at credit and CC BY 4.0 license. This 8192² derivative combines 234 bounded zoom16 source tiles for the Alps01/02 corridor with the original zoom14 background, reprojected into the identical DEM coordinates and joined with a 100-metre feather. It is used only by summer Layer1; the original photo remains unchanged for other layers. Acquisition lighting and shadows remain. The exact delivered hash, individual source URLs/hashes and processing are recorded in ALPINE-ORTHOPHOTO-Z16-CANDIDATE.md, ALPINE-ORTHOPHOTO-ASSETS.json and ArtSource/Alps/CorridorOrthophotoZ16/{candidate-manifest,global-mosaic-manifest}.json. No individual capture year, source endorsement or de-lit albedo is claimed.
Recorded regional atmosphere
The following field recordings are each dedicated under CC0-1.0. The downloaded files are the authors' ordinary public HQ MP3 previews; no claim is made that they are the login-only original WAVs. Changes: bounded excerpts, stereo decoding/resampling to 44.1 kHz, rumble/high-frequency filtering, DC removal, internal three-second loop overlap and gain trimming; runtime layering/crossfading and Unity Vorbis encoding. Source-page evidence, file sizes, SHA-256 hashes and exact edit parameters are in REGIONAL-AMBIENCE-ASSETS.json and ArtSource/RegionalAmbience.

Original field locations are distinguished from the fictional game settings. No endorsement, exact local species reconstruction or acoustic quality certification is implied. REGIONAL-AMBIENCE.md describes the current chapter/stage mix and remaining in-game listening.
Original Egypt and China landmark models
The stepped pyramid core, capped companion, hollow arched watchtower, doorway stairs and battlement wall modules are original project geometry authored in Blender. No third-party 3D monument model was copied. Each model has three metric LODs. Editable source, packed preview materials, delivered FBX hashes and reused map hashes are retained under ArtSource/WorldLandmarks; placement and limitations are documented in WORLD-LANDMARKS.md.
The models reuse existing Poly Haven CC0 photographic maps unchanged: Rock Face 03, Rock Wall 06 by Dario Barresi (processing) and Dimitrios Savva (photography), and Plaster Stone Wall 01 by Charlotte Baglioni. Runtime material tints and metric UV placement are project adaptations. Original map provenance remains in the existing material manifests and is additionally linked by SHA-256 from ArtSource/WorldLandmarks/landmark-build.json.
Architectural research used the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Egyptian State Information Service and the UNESCO Great Wall description. No source-page photographs or text are embedded in the models. The ensemble and wall runs are original game compositions, not surveyed historical reconstructions or claims of endorsement.
Alpine summer meadow, ambientCG Grass005
The Alpine summer meadow uses Grass005 by ambientCG, dedicated under CC0-1.0. The original colour and OpenGL normal are byte-identical copies; roughness and ambient occlusion are combined into a technical HDRP mask (R=0, G=AO, B=255, A=1−roughness). No artistic recolouring or source-photo retouching was applied. Publisher technique: Procedural with Bitmap Elements; this is not claimed as a photographed survey. The 1.4m game tile scale is authored. Original files, source URLs and all hashes are recorded in ArtSource/Alps/SummerMeadow/manifest.json and Docs/ALPINE-SUMMER-MEADOW-PREPARATION.md.
The complementary close ground and darker meadow patches use Grass001 by ambientCG under the same CC0 dedication. Original colour and OpenGL normal remain byte-identical; original AO/roughness are packed into the same technical HDRP mask layout. Publisher technique: Procedural. Source and runtime hashes are in ArtSource/Alps/SummerMeadow/summer-canopy-build.json; the native four-layer integration and unmodified-source blending are documented in Docs/ALPINE-SUMMER-FOUR-LAYERS.md.
Original alpine grass geometry and matching maps
Grass Medium 01 by Poly Haven is provided under CC0-1.0. Modeling: Rico Cilliers; photography: Rob Tuytel. Four original variants (mid_b, mid_c, tall_a, tall_b) at three original LODs preserve the source curved-blade geometry, mesh normals and UVs. Export translates each foot to an origin; matching diffuse/alpha, tangent normal and roughness maps receive technical packing for HDRP. The EXR normal directions are normalized before unsigned PNG encoding. No paid asset, website preview photograph or proprietary geometry was substituted. Original source, publisher checksums, exported hashes and CPU verification are retained in ArtSource/Alps/GrassMedium01Review; runtime contract and limits are in ALPINE-GRASS-3D.md.
Unity HDRP shader pass source
The grass thin-leaf diffusion profile at Resources/Environments/Alps/Grass/AlpineGrassDiffusion.asset copies optical settings from the installed HDRP Runtime/RenderPipelineResources/FoliageDiffusionProfile.asset, with a project asset name/GUID/hash. This Unity package resource is used in this Unity-dependent project under the same Unity Companion License described below; it is separate from the CC0 grass geometry/maps. Runtime uses native HDRP transmission, not an emissive brightening shader.
Assets/Rampage/Resources/Shaders/AlpineFirBillboard.shader derives its property declarations and three rendering passes from the installed Unity HDRP Unlit.shader, package com.unity.render-pipelines.high-definition@700710090fa9. Copyright © 2020 Unity Technologies ApS. Licensed under the Unity Companion License for Unity-dependent projects. The shader remains part of this Unity-dependent project. The package license notice is preserved at ArtSource/Alps/FirImpostorStudy/Unity-HDRP-LICENSE.md.
Modifications: renamed project shader, retained only opaque depth/forward/motion passes, added a shared original per-tree cylindrical billboard vertex expansion and a previous-camera motion vertex entry point. Material and fragment logic continues to include the installed HDRP package source. No third-party package file is modified. This license is separate from the CC0 Poly Haven fir models/textures already credited below.
